 If you want to do something really special and unforgettable, this
is the tour for you. See impressive rock formations, wildlife and much more.
We start our journey from Panama City taking the
Pan-American Highway until reaching a small indigenous community
on the shores of Lake Bayano. Here we'll meet our local contact
and board one of their hand crafted "Cayucos" to start navigating
to the entrance of the caves. This lake is quite big and the
landscape is dramatic!
Once at the caves the real adventure
begins. You will immediately feel the adrenaline pumping through
your veins as you walk deep into this underground river and start
appreciating the most spectacular rock formations, stalactites and
stalagmites created by the hands of time...a lot of time!
After a
couple of hours of heart pounding fun, we'll break for lunch and
relax in an open area surrounded by huge stone walls, gorgeous
forest and a lagoon, where everyone is invited for a swim.
We'll get back on the boat and head back to the Indigenous
Community. Those who want to change clothes and put on something
dry are welcome to use our boatman's house for privacy. Then is
off to Panama City, arriving in your hotel at around dusk.
